I have just one more question: Are these miniatures soft, like the figures of Old Glory, or hard, such as Artizan minis?

Regards from Spain!Borja Pinohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15335296640271724657noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4948448485994473978.post-25364935858708745362015-09-28T11:08:04.196-07:002015-09-28T11:08:04.196-07:00Thank you! If you're looking to round out your own collection you can contact John McEwan directly through his website as he might be persuaded to cast some up to order:

www.tin-soldier.com

John has been fascinated with the Mexican-American War for over 50 years, and put a great deal of research into all of his sets, right down to the correct saddle and fittings for the U.S. Dragoons (as many a figure manufacturer used the McClellan saddle which is all wrong!). All of his figures are 1/72 scale, so they will fit in reasonably well with the Imex plastics at the very least on the wargames table, so between the two sources it is quite possible to build up a fairly massive Mexican army with all the various unique units and even the assorted gangs of drunken hooligans and ne'er-do-wells that made up the various U.S. militia units. >;p

Hope this helps, and thank you again for your kind words! :)BlackWidowPilothttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09412207015693040956noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4948448485994473978.post-50538575630768634182015-09-28T10:56:47.824-07:002015-09-28T10:56:47.824-07:00Great figures!!! Like I told Phil above, I just can't achieve the level of fiddly hand lettering precision now as I did back then when my eyes and hands were so much younger (Hah!). So I'll stick to subjects I can detail out using decals and Micro-Sol.... >;)BlackWidowPilothttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09412207015693040956noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4948448485994473978.post-19550959259995841652014-11-30T17:30:27.658-08:002014-11-30T17:30:27.658-08:00Thank you!
