Yes indeed, these are VERY handy little models easily modified to serve as 15mm sci-fi subjects.

Regarding that Hummer, I was hesitant to pick any up at the time as I had already acquired my recon element (see previous blog entry), and the Hummer just looked a little too much to my jaundiced eye like a general purpose staff vehicle for the rear echelon types rather than a frontline piece of near future military transport, but then again, that's just me. ;)

Yes, do share your own mad creations! One of the outcomes I'd hoped for with this humble blog of mine is to inspire others to join in this mad hobby of ours by demonstrating that one needn't be a billionaire corporate aristocrat to build a respectable force or three for tabletop wargaming, and to inspire others to share their ideas and creativity as well.

Cheers!BlackWidowPilothttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09412207015693040956noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4948448485994473978.post-56397438571153447632013-02-17T18:30:14.842-08:002013-02-17T18:30:14.842-08:00Kull summarized the wherefores and hows of finding...Kull summarized the wherefores and hows of finding these cheap-as-dirt and handy diecast toys, Omer. As an American, I am personally intensely jealous of our European co-hobbyists, who have access to 6-wheeled VABs, while we mere "colonials" only seem ever to have access to the more pedestrian 4x4 VAB toy...

I suspect that if you dig carefully enough through the various discount shops or toy stores, you may get lucky and find them, or something equally useful at a bargain price! As it is, I found mine both at Big Lots and Toys R Us...

Cheers and Good Hunting! >;)

BlackWidowPilothttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09412207015693040956noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4948448485994473978.post-78247261962383020692013-02-17T10:15:50.949-08:002013-02-17T10:15:50.949-08:00The armor looks very good, Leland!
